Application Usage by Device and User User Guide

Overview

This DEX Pack Lite assesses application usage by device and user to determine how an app’s performance impacts the individual digital experience.

Global Settings

Select from the drop-down menus the Group, Location, Product, Application, App Accounts, Architecture, Show App Versions (Yes or No), and Last Use Since. These filters help to focus the data in the following grids.

Persona Applications

This grid lists information about the user and the user’s device to create a “persona.” This persona informs a product’s value to the individual and to the enterprise using metrics including architecture, number of users, total focus time in hours, average memory use, average IO reads and writes, average network usage in bytes, and other factors.

• Select a Product to fill in the remaining two grids.

Application Users (Selected)

This grid shows the user for the selected product from the Persona Applications grid.

App & User Details (Selected)

This grid lists information on the selected app and user from the previous grids. This narrows the data specific to that application and user.
